CPUC Issues Final EIR for Key East Bay Transmission Upgrade

With Aspen’s support, the California Public Utilities Commission released the Final EIR for Moraga–Oakland X 115 kV Rebuild Project, a Pacific Gas and Electric Company initiative to upgrade five miles of transmission lines in the East Bay with hybrid overhead/underground infrastructure while addressing wildfire risk, evacuation access, landslides, and other community concerns.

Aspen's Catherine Elder to Deliver Keynote at Illinois Municipal Utilities Conference

Aspen Environmental Group's Catherine Elder, Practice Leader for Energy Economics, Policy, and Markets, will serve as the keynote speaker at the annual conference of the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA) and its sister organizations, the Illinois Public Energy Agency (IPEA) and the Illinois Municipal Utilities Association (IMUA). The event will take place on May 16 in Springfield, Illinois.
