Desert Harvest Solar Project Record of Decision Signed by Outgoing Interior Secretary Salazar

In one of his final acts as Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar signed the Desert Harvest Solar Project Record of Decision on March 13, 2013 along with two other renewable energy records of decision. In a statement, Secretary Salazar said “These renewable energy projects reflect the Obama Administration’s commitment to expand domestic energy production on our public lands and diversify our nation’s energy portfolio.” Aspen Environmental Group supported the Bureau of Land Management and EDF Renewables in NEPA compliance for this 150 megawatt priority solar project located on BLM land in Riverside County, California.
