Sespe Creek Biological Surveys and Biological Technical Report

Aspen Environmental Group biologists prepared a comprehensive Biological Technical Report detailing the biological resources that occurred at the proposed Sespe Creek Levee (SC-2) Improvement Project site located between Highway 126 and Old Telegraph Road in Fillmore, California. In the preparation of this report Aspen biologists conducted a series of surveys and habitat assessments within and adjacent to the project site between July and November 2011. These actions included, but were not limited to, a literature review, agency coordination and consultation, reconnaissance-level surveys, focused surveys for sensitive plant and wildlife species (including the listed steelhead trout), and non-protocol focused surveys for listed song birds and burrowing owls.
