Aspen’s Catherine Elder Helps Present Reliability Assessment At State Workshop

Catherine Elder on a site visit at Aliso Canyon.

The Energy Commission, CPUC, CAISO, and LADWP recently held their workshop assessing reliability and mitigation options in the wake of the Aliso Canyon well failure and moratorium on reinjections.  Aspen’s Director of our Energy Resource Economics Group, Catherine Elder, served in a consultative role to the joint agency team that helped put together the reliability analysis and list of mitigation measures to help keep southern California’s lights on.  Elder helped present the reliability assessment and answered questions from the Commissioners.
