Aspen has substantial expertise providing construction monitoring services for infrastructure projects, having monitored construction of over 50 infrastructure projects and conducted sensitive species monitoring for many additional projects. Much of Aspen’s monitoring experience has been for construction of linear projects (transmission lines, pipelines, fiber optic installations) where conditions of approval must be applied over many different jurisdictions and where conditions address a wide range of resource concerns. Aspen has also monitored many smaller public works projects, often located in sensitive environments, and has also monitored the success of mitigation and restoration projects. The construction monitoring team at Aspen has worked together on monitoring efforts for over 25 years. Our team focuses on mitigation effectiveness, but we coordinate carefully with the applicants, construction personnel, and agency representatives to ensure that the process is fair and as expeditious as possible.
