Enhancing Diversity in the Environmental Profession – 2023 Student Internship
Aspen Environmental Group is offering a summer internship opportunity to support college students who would like to learn about opportunities in the environmental field and are looking to add an internship to their resume.
Internship Program
The primary purpose of this internship program is to provide educational information and encourage undergraduate students to obtain jobs in the environmental field upon graduation. This educational program will provide students with an overview of environmental consulting, give them exposure to different career options, and help them develop skills as future environmental professionals. In this position, the intern will learn about the environmental consulting industry, get hands-on experience both within the office and in the field, and expand networking opportunities. Whether you are interested in physical or social sciences, we will provide information and guidance for several different career pathways in the environmental field.
When and Where
This unpaid position is hosted every Friday from July 14 to August 18. The internship will take place over six weeks, with six sessions, three in Aspen’s Agoura Hills office, and three sessions in the field. Each session will be held on a Friday, ranging from 4-hour days in the office, to 8- to 10-hour days for field days. Interns must be able to attend all six sessions, either in Aspen’s Agoura Hills Office or in the field.
