Aspen Vice President Susan Lee to Present with CPUC at EUCI Conference

Aspen Vice President Susan Lee, will be co-presenting with Billie Blanchard, Project Manager/Senior Regulatory Analyst of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Energy Division, at the EUCI Conference: Transmission Siting for Rural & Urban Locations in Portland, OR, June 25-26, 2014. Susan and Billie will be discussing the CPUC’s Regulatory Transmission Siting Process and the many challenges and solutions that come with it. Topics will include CPUC regulatory oversight of transmission siting in California, case studies on numerous transmission siting issues and solutions, and conclusions/recommendations for meeting siting challenges. Susan has assisted the CPUC in the preparation of environmental documents for several major controversial transmission line projects, including the Sunrise Powerlink Transmission Project, the Devers-Palo Verde No. 2 Transmission Line Project, and the Jefferson-Martin 230 kV Transmission Line Project.
