Aspen has been preparing and finalizing inter-agency Cooperative Agreements (CAs) between the Ventura County Watershed Protection District, the Corps of Engineers, and the CDFG for numerous mitigation sites along streams in Ventura County. These site-specific CAs are intended to balance the Ventura County Watershed Protection District's need for ensuring flood conveyance capacity and the Corps/CDFG requirements at these locations for conservation values sufficient to mitigate aquatic resource impacts.
