Aspen is preparing an EIR for the Topaz Solar Farm project which consists of a 550 MW solar photovoltaic energy generation facility on 6,200 acres located approximately six miles west of the California Valley Solar Ranch project in San Luis Obispo County. The proposed project would be installed as an initial 210-MW phase, followed by a secondary 340 MW phase.
