Aspen is preparing an EIR for a new 2,950-acre, 120-MW wind farm development in Santa Barbara County. The Lompoc Wind Energy Facility would have a maximum electrical generating capacity of 120 megawatts (MW). The project includes 60 to 80 wind turbine generators, new access roads, onsite substation, electrical collection distribution lines, and onsite substation.
