As an extension of the California Department of Fish & Game (CDFG) staff and under a tri-party agreement (CDFG, Aspen, and the applicant), Aspen processed Streambed Alteration Agreement applications (SAA) and monitored construction at streambed crossings for fiber optic and natural gas project construction activities for CDFG. For the Williams and AT&T telecommunication projects in Napa, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties, Aspen prepared the SAA for the dozens of CDFG jurisdictional waterway crossed by these projects. In addition, Aspen has prepared the SAAs for SoCal Gas projects in Monterey and San Luis Obispo Counties.
