Aspen prepared a DPR/EA to restore approximately 10 acres along one mile of the El Vado Wash, a tributary to the Santa Cruz River in Tucson, AZ. The project area has been affected by complete urbanization, severe groundwater depletion, and channelization. Aspen was responsible for the entire plan formulation process, including habitat evaluation, hydraulic analysis, economic analysis, geotechnical analysis, and preliminary engineering design.
