Aspen prepared Habitat Criteria Reports to provide guidance for the design and establishment of wetland and riparian habitats in the Phoenix and Tempe Reaches of the Rio Salado Environmental Restoration Project. The purpose of these reports was to help translate the approved restoration concept set forth in the Corps of Engineers Rio Salado Feasibility Study into a functioning habitat design, with the objective of restoring native wetland and riparian habitat historically associated with the Salt River.
