Aspen prepared an Ecosystem Restoration Report for the Ajo Detention Basin to re-establish historic wetland and riparian habitat. It uses reclaimed water to support 50 acres of marsh, riparian woodland, mesquite, and open water habitats, providing particular benefits for migratory waterfowl, shorebirds, and songbirds.
