Aspen prepared the surface water hydrology section of the Dominquez Channel Watershed Management Plan prepared for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. The Dominguez Watershed drains a highly-urban area of approximately 118 mi2 in southwestern Los Angeles County, California. Aspen made an inventory of watershed hydrology, flooding, worked with cities, agencies and stakeholders to identify drainage perceptions and practices in the watershed, and developed a series of management measures intended to improve drainage and flooding, as well as improving riparian habitat within the watershed.
