PG&E Tri-Valley 2002 Capacity Increase Project

Aspen prepared an EIR for the installation of a 230 kV transmission system, including construction of two new 230 kV substations (in Livermore and Dublin) and 23 miles of 230 kV transmission lines, including 2.5 miles of underground construction. The project was highly controversial in the Tri-Valley area because of PG&E's proposal to install the 230 kV transmission line underground through a residential area.
