Aspen prepared a portion of a Biological Assessment (BA) of the degradation and loss of alluvial sage scrub habitat associated with operation of the Seven Oaks Dam in the lower reach of the Santa Ana River watershed. Aspen evaluated the habitat, surveyed for a variety of sensitive plant and animal species, assessed potential project impacts, and recommended appropriate mitigation within the downstream reach of the affected area from the San Bernardino Airport to Prado Dam and completed the impact assessment for the slender-horned spineflower (Dodecahema leptoceras) throughout the upper wash.
