Aspen recently completed a revision to the Area Drainage Master Plan for the Durango Regional Conveyance Channel (DRCC) located in Avondale and Phoenix, Arizona for the Flood Control District of Maricopa County. The study included: 1) hydrologic analysis using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers HEC-1 program for existing and proposed (developed) conditions; 2) development and evaluation of DRCC alternatives; 3) consultation with plan stakeholders including the cities and developers; 4) recommendation of a revised master plan; 5) preparation of 10% plans for the recommended plan including right-of-way and utility information; and, 6) a cost estimate.
