Aspen performs noise analysis and modeling for various infrastructure projects using data from the projects transportation analysis and traffic noise models, such as the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Noise Model®, to estimate potential increases in vehicle noise levels associated with the project. Aspen personnel have also received training on Transit Noise and Vibration Impact Assessment. Aspen has completed baseline noise monitoring and noise impact analysis for numerous CEQA EIRs and MNDs.
