Desert Harvest Solar Project

The Desert Harvest Solar Project will generate 150 megawatts of electricity on an approximately 1,200-acre site managed by the California Desert District of the BLM.

Simulation of Natural Flows in Middle Piru Creek

Under contract to the California DWR, Aspen prepared an EIR for a proposal to change the seasonal flow release schedule of Pyramid Dam, located at the southern end of Pyramid Lake in Los Angeles County, California.

Oil and Gas Well Stimulation Treatments in California

Under contract to the California Department of Conservation (DOC), Aspen prepared a Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) assessing oil and gas well stimulation treatments throughout California, as required by Section 3161 (b)(3) and (4) of Public Resources Code Chapter 1, Division 3, (Senate Bill 4 [Pavley]), as signed into law on September 20, 2013 and subsequently amended in 2014 by Senate Bill 861.

Devers-Palo Verde No. 2 Transmission Line Project

Aspen prepared a joint EIR/EIS for the Devers–Palo Verde No. 2 Transmission Line Project is a 230-mile, 500-kV electric transmission line routed between Devers Substation in California and Harquahala Generating Substation in Arizona.

Assistance to Counties on the State Renewable Energy and Conservation Planning Grants (RECPG) Program

Aspen was awarded contracts to work on plans and associated environmental clearance for four of the six chosen counties to support renewable energy planning efforts in California.

Canoga Park NEW Elementary School

This elementary school was developed on a parcel of land owned by the non-profit organization New Economics for Women.
