As part of the District’s team, Aspen has provided hydraulic engineering and design services, prepared a suite of natural resource studies, formulated a permitting strategy, played a trusted liaison role between different resources agencies involved, and prepared an EIR/EIS to support the removal of sediment to provide greater water storage capacity. In addition, Aspen is currently assisting the District’s efforts to find a suitable and environmentally preferable location to dispose of 1,000,000 cubic yards of sediment to be removed from Littlerock Reservoir.
