2024 Environmental Sciences and Planning Internship Program

Aspen is proud to announce our 2024 Environmental Sciences and Planning Internship Program. This program is an excellent opportunity for driven and passionate undergraduate or graduate students to experience different aspects of a career in the environmental field. The internship includes three tracks, depending on the intern's interests:

  • Environmental Sciences (Field and Remote) – Field studies with a choice of Biology, Cultural Resources (Archaeology), or Paleontology

  • Environmental Planning (Remote and In-office) – Writing environmental documents to comply with environmental laws, policies, and

    regulations.

  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (Remote and In-office) – Preparing maps, using GIS, to support environmental analyses

Aspen is committed to engaging diverse students from groups that have been typically underrepresented in the environmental field, as we believe these perspectives are essential to tackling environmental challenges within the communities where we live, work, and serve. In addition to completing a traditional internship program, all interns will receive training and mentoring from various Aspen staff members.

The program will be eight weeks during July and August, approximately 20 hours a week, at $22 an hour.

Find the application HERE. Applications are due by June 21, 2024.
